Day1: Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning of your 7 Days Kenya Special Getaway Tour and drive to Tsavo East National Park which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. Go for the afternoon game drive and catch up with the predators on hunt and other game like Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos, Leopards mentions but a few later back to your lodge.
Day2: Tsavo East – Salt Lick Taita Hills Sanctuary
Early morning game drive later you break for breakfast, after breakfast proceed with game en-route Leave Tsavo East for Salt lick Taita Hills Sanctuary which is less 3 hrs’ drive. Taita Hills Sanctuary is sufficiently isolated to develop endemic forms and birders which come from afar to see the Taita Olive Thrush and the Taita White-eye have lunch and have a rest. Afternoon game drives in the search for birds and animals around the park. Dinner and overnight.
Day3: Taita Hills Sanctuary – Amboseli
Early morning game drive later you break for breakfast, after breakfast check out with game en-route Leave Taita Hills for Amboseli National Park arriving to the park late morning and proceed with the game drive. Afternoon more game in Amboseli Park which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo etc. can be seen at the swamp area and open plains. Dinner and overnight
Day4: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru
Early morning, after breakfast around 08:30 am leave Amboseli for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive before the afternoon game drive later you will proceed to your lodge for check inn and have lunch. Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos but due to climate change only few flamingos can be seen, not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight.
Day5: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara National Reserve, a 5 hrs’ drive arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon games drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, and Buffalo. Dinner and overnight.
Day6: Maasai Mara
Early morning game drive will lead you to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas and return to camp for breakfast some rest and Lunch. After lunch go for afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara plains which are full of wildebeest during migration season, early July to end of September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles mention but a few. Day7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast, checkout and depart the Mara for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Have lunch at carnivore afterwards drop off at Airport for flight back home.
