Experience the 7 Days Tanzanian bush and beach adventure. The 7 Days Serengeti Safari Includes Serengeti & Zanzibar Extension.
This is for those that want to visit the most famous parks of Tanzania (Serengeti and Ngorongoro, plus Manyara) and have a few days in Zanzibar this is the perfect tour for you.
It only spends one night in Serengeti, which we usually think it’s too little, but if your time-frame is short and you really want to visit this amazing park, and then it is the right choice for you. This journey showcases the breath-taking wildlife & landscapes of Tanzania,
Day 1: Arusha – Transfer to Serengeti
You will be picked from your Arusha hotel at 7a.m. and immediately depart for Great Serengeti, home to the big five and numerous plains game.
As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, “endless plains”. Spend the rest of the day game viewing within the park with lunch served at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay a: And beyond Camp, Serengeti Acacia camp, Asanja camp, Serengeti Serena safari lodge. Meal Plan: F/B
Day 2 & 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will continue your safari to Serengeti National park. The Serengeti is where it all happens – the Great Migration, game drives, nature walks and a multitude of wildlife – it embodies the heart of Tanzania.
This is the place were the most impressive nature documentaries were shot. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration of more than a million wildebeest is probably Serengeti’s main draw.
It is a true spectacle of nature and impressive to see millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelle thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your guide you will be looking for the herds across the plains.
Apart from the migratory animals you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park. Accommodation: And beyond Camp, Serengeti Acacia camp, Asanja camp, Serengeti Serena safari lodge. Meal Plan: F/B
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy
We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife.
During the drive in Ngorongoro, we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos.
Finally, we descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky).
The only animal you won’t see in here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. In the late afternoon, we travel back to our special tented camp. And beyond camp, Ngorongoro Serena safari lodge: Meal Plan: F/B
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Zanzibar Departure
We depart from your lodge and start a beautiful journey en-route view of Lake Manyara National Park; we travel back to Kilimanjaro Airport for the flight to Zanzibar.
Arrival in Zanzibar you will meet us at the airport and pick up with a private transfer at Zanzibar Amaan Bungalow Beach Lodge for dinner and overnight stay: Meal Plan: F/B
