Serengeti Lake Magadi Lodge

Boasting of being home to the big 5, Serengeti National Park is perhaps one of the most prolific places for game-viewing all year round.

Although the great migrating herds of wildebeests and zebras are an impressive sight, the endless plains with a huge predator population, varied birdlife and kaleidoscope of natural colors are pretty hard to beat.

The alkaline lake located in central Serengeti – ‘Magadi’ translating to ‘soda ash’ in Swahili, serves as a watering hole for birds and animals in this area.

Location of the lodge

In a prime hilltop location, inside the Serengeti National Park overlooking the game-filled plains, the Serengeti Lake Magadi Lodge is like a lap of luxury steeped in romance offering bird eye views.

Extending to the Moru Kopjes, Mbalageti River and Lake Magadi you are able to witness large concentrations and a wide variety of wildlife from the comfort of your own room.
